Change of Postage Options

I've decided to only offer Registered Mail & Pos Laju from now on folks. It's going to be a big pain for some people who don't like to pay extra for postage but think of avoiding the pain & anxiety when your order gets lost en route via normal snail mail! It breaks my heart too ya'know.

The changes have been reflected here & here so do take note that from now on Normal Mail is no longer available.

Packaging

Here's a peek at my packaging for online orders.

Top row
(Left) Each piece of jewelry or accessory is slotted into my custom made jewelry/business card & then packed into little cellophane bags so that the piece doesn't oxidize or comes into contact with water from rain during delivery.
(Right) My little way of saying thank you: a free pair of pewter or brass charm earrings with every purchase from 23 August to 23 September! Read more about the promo here.

Bottom row
(Left) The order + free earrings are wrapped in layers of fine tissue wrapping paper & topped of with ribbons. I then wrap it again with pink bubble wrap (Not pictured here as it's not very pretty! Hehehe). That silver box you see is for rings & other fragile jewelry & accessories.
(Right) Everything is then mailed to you in a bubble envelope that I've dressed up with more wrapping paper!

It's not very eco-friendly I admit but it works in keeping the jewelry safe during delivery. Perhaps someday I'll find a way to use only biodegradable products to pack my jewelry...

Please note that if you choose to have your order sent to you via Registered Mail, the bubble envelope will be PLAIN as the post office has restrictions concerning this mode of postage.

ONLY Genuine Buyers Please!

Ever since I've been on the local bazaar circuit I've been getting lots of exposure & coverage for my jewelry which is excellent but oh my gosh... I wasn't quite ready for the amount of emails that comes with all this exposure & coverage! It's not quite a problem lah and I feel extremely blessed and happy that there's this outpouring of interest in indie handicrafters and online shopping.

YaY for Malaysian Indie Handcrafters and Online Shopping!

I have also received plenty of orders from Malaysians (as opposed to before when it was mostly orders from overseas). This so totally ROCKS and just goes to show that Malaysians are becoming more and more open to purchasing online and love their one of a kind, handmade products. Problem is, there's a small number of people placing these orders who are unscrupulous.

They place an order, I send an invoice, they email back saying they will pay, then POOF! I don't hear from them anymore. Wha...?!?!?

I don't mind if they sent me an email with an enquiry, in fact I welcome questions! Heck, I don't even mind much if suddenly they have a change of heart as long as they let me know and don't leave me hanging for over a week! But once an order has been placed and I've confirmed availability by sending an invoice, it basically means we're in agreement and that I've already put the order aside which in turn deprives me of a potential sale from someone else, and I of course expect payment to be made within 3 working days (or within a renegotiated time frame) as stated time and time again on this blog and in my emails.

Can't get any more simple than that.

So let this be a warning to YOU, the unscrupulous buyer (I love everyone else. Really!): If you place an order and do not make payment on time, I will BLACKLIST you and forward your details to all online traders I know... And I know quite a few mind you.

Yup, it's tough lovin' time folks. The bottom line is, if you're not sure whether you want something, don't place the order. Drop me an email, ask me questions and then when you're truly ready, let's do business together. I don't bite and my friends say I'm very nice... That's why they're my friends. Heh.

I get quite a bit of requests to exchange links & although I'd love to help out a fellow blogger, I'm afraid there comes a time when one has to draw the line lest one's blog links list reads longer than Homer's Odyssey! And so from now on my lovelies, I am limiting my link exchanges to those that I really really like. The blog is looking kinda sparse as I've been working my little fingers down to the bone fulfilling bulk orders. Also, I'm kinda anal and been working on tweaking my blog like forever now but do have a looksee around, and please do check back often as I've loads more goodies to share with you!

Terms & Conditions

ORDERING

Orders are taken on a first come, first served basis.
Only genuine buyers will be entertained. All unscrupulous back-out buyers will be blacklisted & other blog shop owners within the Mimpi circle will be warned. Read more about it here.
All prices are non-negotiable & exclude shipping.
Colors displayed online may differ from the actual item due to photography & monitor settings.
To order, please complete the Order Form & ensure that all fields have been filled in.

PAYMENT

Payment must be made within 3 business days upon receiving the invoice. Please send a copy of the receipt via email (scanned or photographed) so that I can verify the transaction.
Sorry, but I don't do Cash On Delivery (COD), personal deliveries nor allow pick-ups at my home. If you wish to purchase an item & pick it up at a bazaar I am taking part in, you must make full payment first.
All orders will be shipped within 1 - 7 working days upon confirmation of payment. The length of time is determined by customization/adjustment work required & quantity of order.

SHIPPING

All items come packed in a bubble mail envelope.
As a tracking number will be provided for Registered Mail & Pos Laju you will be solely responsible for tracking your order once it has been posted.
Do email me if you prefer an alternate mode of shipment such as DHL, UPS or to pack your purchase in a box. I will be more than happy to comply & to quote you a new price.
All items will be checked prior to shipping.

LIABILITY, EXCHANGE & REFUNDS

I will hold no responsibility if your package should suffer any mishaps during delivery or if your package gets lost in the mail. To reiterate, I will not replace your order nor offer you a refund for lost or damaged items.
Items sold are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

Step Three: Email
If the online order form is not working, drop me an email at mimpi.murni@gmail.com with your completed order form above. Ensure that all fields have been filled in as accurately as possible. I will get back to you within 1 - 3 business days to confirm availability and to send you an invoice for your order.

Step Four: Payment
Upon confirmation of your order and shipping costs (see Step Five below), you will then have to proceed with payment within 3 days otherwise your order will be canceled & you will be blacklisted & other blog shop owners will be warned. Seriously.

Payment is accepted via PayPal. You can also pay with your credit card or debit card through PayPal without a PayPal account. I will send you the account info upon confirmation of your order.

SINGAPORE
Payment is accepted via online banking at POSB or cash deposit at any POSB ATM or bank branch. I will send you the account number upon confirmation of your order.
